I'll be at WL in November. I'll already be in FL for business prior to check and a shuttle back to MCO is provided. Will I be able to ride Magical Express to my resort and then catch it back to MCO at checkout?

Yes you should have the option in MDE to just reserve one-way transportation.

EDIT: Wait, reread your post - do you need it both ways or one way since you have the shuttle to MCO?

Absolutely. You don't need to fly into MCO to use DME. If you want to make a reservation on DME, simply find a flight time that comes in around the time you expect to be in MCO.

Have your room reservation # ready and/or magic band and you will be able to board with no issues.

We did this once but for the opposite purpose. Went to Disney first, then were staying in Florida, so we took DME back to MCO so we could rent a car. We just picked a random flight to accommodate what time we wanted to be back to the airport...

The day of Check Out when we woke up we had two plane tickets on our door for two very random people (though last names starting with same letter as ours) for that flight we had selected. Panicked, I ran to the front desk and they just laughed it off, said the next time just let them know that's what we were doing and they'd give us a ride back at the time that best suited us.
