Magical Express!

Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it would take for me to get off the plane and get to the resort if my plane lands at 11:00am?
I was wondering if the lines at Magical Express where shorter or longer at that time?

It all depends on whether there's a bus you can get right on when you get to the ME counter, or if you have to wait, how many people are ahead of you, whether your resort is the first or the last stop, etc. I've seen estimates in the neighborhood of 60-90 minutes from landing to resort check-in, on average. The last time we visited WDW, the timing was perfect (got right on a bus and were the first stop, no line to check in, etc.), and I think we were checked in and on our way to our rooms less than an hour after our plane had touched the ground.

Although I've seen mid-day (noon-ish) listed as the busiest time to land, catch ME and check in, that's always when we've arrived, and although there are large crowds, Disney moves them pretty quickly and efficiently.

Typically the process is fairly smooth, but overall if you are landing around 11am, I'd say getting checked in to your resort by 2pm would be a SAFE bet.

I think our plane landed at 10:45am on our last trip. If I remember correctly we were checking in to our resort around 12:15. We were the third stop on the bus though so in theory it could have been about a half hour earlier. I think a good rule of thumb is to allow at least an hour.

Typically I notice I end up at the resort 1.5 hours after landing. Quickest for me ever was just under an hour.

Arrive at 10:15
Quickest was 1.25 hours (Wilderness Lodge)
Longest was 1.5 hours (Boardwalk - which was 2d stop and once 3d stop)

This is over the past 6 years.

I was there in February - landed at 11. At the resort (Boardwalk) by 12:30. We were second stop, I think....
