Magical Express

Question: We've been to WDW quite a bit and have always taken the ME whenever we flew into MCO. Now my parents have invested in an airline that's taking off in May and they get free airline tickets for their investment. My question is this: does the airline have to have some sort of partnership w/ Disney for us to use ME, or because we're staying on property, we get ME no matter what?

I know that, for example, the airlines must be affiliated to use Disney tags on luggage and to check in for departing flights at the resorts. BUT if we take our own luggage and don't check in at the hotel, can we still use ME? Thanks for the help! :))

If the airline flies into Orlando International (MCO), then you can use the yellow-tagged luggage service.

But one thing you might want to make sure of is that this startup airline will be flying into Orlando International (MCO) and not Orlando-Sanford (SFB). DME does *not* operate out of Orlando-Sanford.

Thanks all! That's what I told my mom, but she's convinced otherwise, as the owner of the airline used to work at Disney and he said, "Disney won't even talk to me until the airline gets off the ground." I am guessing he meant that Disney won't talk to him about checking in at the hotels, etc. The flight IS going into MCO, so either way, I'm excited!!! :)))
