Magical Express, Taxi, rent a Car? HELP

Hey every one good morning, Now that I am officially 60 days out ( YAY) I am putting the final touches on all my vacation stuff. I need some advice. This is my first trip for DD ( 16 MONTHS @ time of trip) We are departing Saturday September 27th Our flight is with South west and departs at 6 pm. When ever I have used Magical Express they always pick you up 3 hours prior so They would pick us up at 3. I have used ME I would say at least 10 times. We always are stuck at the airport for 2 hours with nothing to do. Since I will have my daughter with me I am trying to find a way I can stay LATER. Our plans for the day are going to DTD at 9 lunch at T rex at 11 then
back to the hotel to Swim and work off some energy. I was hoping not to leave until 4 .
So we have an extra hour at the resort and not an extra hour at the airport. I was thinking A. Get a rental car for 1 day ?? B. Get a Taxi or C. Can you tell them your
flight is actually later than it is? Any input on this would be great!! Thank you!!

I am not going to tell you to do this, but we have often just taken a later bus, we always take the last flight to Houston on United, our scheduled pick up is 3:00. Since we check in online, don't need paper tickets, and get to go thru the quick security line, we just take the bus that shows up at 4:15. I have spoken to them about it before, and they stated that with the 3 hour early pick up, they guarantee that you will make your flight on time, but if you do not, they can't guarantee it. My question was, what is the "guarantee", will you pay for my flight change fee if I miss it. The answer was, well its not really that kind of guarantee, so take that for what its worth.

Not sure how you can tell them the flight is later than it is as every time we have used Magical Express Disney has asked for the flight numbers. We have used a tax on one other occasion. Believe it or not it didn't give us all that more additional park time over ME no more than 1/2 to an hour. But I guess every minute counts.

I would just show up for a later bus. They'll let you take any bus as long as it's not full (which based on 60 days out, probably unlikely). You can always say you missed your assigned bus. I don't think Disney will leave you at the curb if there's open seats.
