According to MousePlanet today, route info for the Magical Express has been released.

The resorts are grouped into zones.

See the link here http://www.mouseplanet.com/parkupdates/wdw/wdw050425.htm

If memory serves correctly, Pop Century is the first resort entering WDW, correct? I hope so, that's where we'll be in September and I'm greedy about getting there asap!

Apologies if this info has already been posted elsewhere.

I saw that also, with 4 or 5 different resorts per bus, this new service doesn't seem that different from the current Mears service, in terms of it taking longer to get to your destination due to multiple stops. Despite it being free, I think it may be worth the money for a towncar to get more personalized and quicker service.

Not necessarily. It depends on which direction that you're coming from which resort is "first."

Well, if they go down 417 and take exit 3, they would pass by Pop Century first, but not be able to pull up to it at all because you would be on the opposite side of the Resort from where the entrance is. When you do get to the off ramp, then it would all depend on how they decide to do it. They could pull into CRB first, then Pop Century, then go to Boardwalk and the ones in that area. But by the same token, they may decide to hit Y&B Clubs first, then Boardwalk, then CRB and finally Pop Century, because leaving Pop and turning left will get them back to 417. If they take 528 - I4 and then take the second Disney exit, that leads to a very similar situation. So it really could go either way. If I run into any of the CMs I worked with at Boardwalk I'll ask if they know, though.

Will Magical Express only run during certain hours? In December my flight is going to arrive at about 7 a.m. and I'm worried the shuttles won't be running that early. Anyone know?

That is why we stopped taking mears.
Most likely we will be renting a car next time.
If not we would take a town car.

My understanding from JPVonDrake is that the system is aware of the flight times. You have booked this service, giving the flight times, so DME Knows wheen you are arriving and will make the necessary accomodations for you. Not a problem and have a great time!!! Belle

Im sure once it starts we will see a lot of comparing between Mears and DME. I would think that Disney did a lot of homework on making this better than what Mears has to offer. Im looking forward to the comments of those who have used both. We shall see.
