magical express question

All of Disney's 22 properties (16 Resort Hotels, 5 Vacation Club Properties, and the campgrounds) will be included with the Magical Express as long as your flight dates and resort stay dates match, and you are arriving at the Orlando International Airport.

Not included will be the 10 official hotels on Disney Property as they are independently owned and operated:

Shades of Green
Holiday Inn at Walt Disney World
Grosvenor
Best Western Lake Buena Vista
Hotel Royal Plaza
Doubletree Resort
Hilton
Wyndham Palace
Walt Disney World Swan
Walt Disney World Dolphin

Hope this helps! :sohappy:

This might be a stupid question but oh well............is magical express only for WDW or do they have something similar for DL. I am flying into DL for her birthday, and I need to know if I have to rent a car.

Currently, Disney Magical Express and Disney's Airline Check-In Service is exclusive to Walt Disney World.

OK Turkey I just bought roundtrip airline tickets from St.Louis to Orlando non stop for $109! we were going to drive until just 5 minutes ago..but gas here is $2.35 a gallon so we decided at $109 we'd fly! SOOO now my question...if we use the magical express they handle our luggage and then they will drop us off at either :MK, AK, EC or Downtown Disney...then from there we would catch the resort bus back to the resort when we were ready to do so? we wouldn't go right to the resort is that correct? thanks for the clarification. I hadn't really worried about but now that we are indeed flying I need to get my act together.

Dwarful,

The shuttle will bring you to your resort, not the parks. I think what Turkey ment (correct me if I'm wrong) was that the buses have four different routes depending on which area your resort is at. The estimated time between meeting the cast member at the airport and arriving at the front desk of your hotel is supposedly 45 minutes.

Hey Dwarful, I understood it the same way as Duke did. You will be dropped off at your resort. Belle

Yea, buses go to the resorts.

AK: AKL, All-Stars, and Coronado (know for sure)
MK: GF, Contemporary, Poly, WL, Fort (pretty positive)
EC: Y&B, Boardwalk, Pop??? Caribbean???
DD: OKW, Port, Saratoga

Thanks for the clarification I saw the first post from Turkey..the "AK, MK, EC & DD" didn't know they were the codes for the buses...thought that they were dropping off at different locations. Either way its great! Now we will just rent a car for one days trip to the beach! Less than a month to go!

Try Karmel shuttle for DL pickups. They were very helpful, and had very reasonable rates.
