We've done it when we were arriving late. The driver will store your luggage underneath the bus (there's plenty of room and unload it when you get to your resort, so you'll need to tip him for it.Has anyone taken their luggage on to the bus with them because they didnt want to wait for their luggage to be delivered? Is it difficult/uncomfortable? Is there room for two suitcases and two carry ons?

In many cases, late luggage is the result of an AIRLINE problem. If the airline misdirected your luggage, DME is hardly at fault. In fact, if someone in that case hadn't used DME, they'd be waiting at their airline's baggage office to fill out forms and so on, severely delaying their own arrival at their resort. If the airline delays the bag and you have it with a DME tag, DME takes care of getting it for you. So when it finally arrives at 1:00 a.m. (because the airline flew it to MCO instead of MCO), DME looks like the bad guy when in reality it's the hero.Hey thanks for the info. That puts my mind at ease about Magical Express. I just didnt want to wait for my luggage if I didnt have to. Ive heard some stories of luggage lost and not showing up till 1am and so on. At least I can control that.![]()
I'm a firm believer in letting DME take care of picking up my luggage.
I pack a small carry-on backpack with the essentials I'll need right away on arrival and head straight from the plane to check-in. I'm usually in the park of my choice in less than an hour and a half. When I get back to the resort having had my fun, my bag is always there waiting for me.
