Magical Express bags?

I just got off the phone with reservations. Here's the dilemma - we are getting into Orlando at 9 pm and want to have our checked bags immediately. We are flying Delta. The cast member in reservations said no matter what I cannot pick up my own checked luggage and bring it myself to Magical Express bus loading area. :veryconfu

Is this true? I thought I remembered others on here saying that they picked up their own luggage from baggage claim and brought it to the DME buses themselves. Maybe this was just when they were on a non-participating airline...:shrug:

What should I do to make sure my bags don't get taken straight to my resort with the rest of the Disney resort guests?

when are you supposed to receive the yellow tags in the mail?

When DME started they were sending them out 3 weeks in advance (regardless of when you made the reservations), but over the past few months they've been sending them out 406 weeks in advance.

406 weeks?! That can't be right. Do you mean days? Even still, I called last week to ask this question and they told me that I should have them 21 days before my departure date.

406 weeks does seem a tad extreme. I'll try to read my post next time ... 4 to 6 weeks. THAT BETTER???:ROFLOL:
