Magical Express and Infants

Has anyone used the Magical Express while traveling with an infant? My wife, parents and our 3 month old will be going in December and we're debating renting a mini van or using the Magical Express. Also, how long on average does it take to get to your resort from the airport and how much earlier than your flight do you have to leave to return?
Thanks!

I'll be happy to answer your questions...

If you don't plan on leaving Disney property during your stay (or only plan on a couple of short departures) I would recommend saving your money and using the Magical Express instead of renting a van. You can always rent a van for a day or two from Alamo Car Rentals right here on Disney property during your stay if one is needed. On the motor coach, child seats are not needed or allowed (there is no seat belts to secure it to.) The motor coaches are large deluxe travel coaches with high back seats, tv monitors (with an arrival and departure video) and a bathroom.

Once you arrival to the Disney Welcome Center at the airport most guest are traveling on their motor coach within 10-15 minutes. The ride itself is about 40 minutes to 1 1/2 hours depending on which Resort stop you get off at and traffic conditions. For your return your departure is scheduled 2 1/2 to 3 hours prior to your fight time, to ensure you are at the airport 2 hours prior to flight time. This is in accordance to FAA requests.

Hope this helps! :sohappy:
