is pleasure island dry that night? or is pleasure island open for people on grad night?
I updated my post some, to add some information and to add the brochure links. Feel free to ask any questions!
How big would your group be (if you don't mind me asking, that is)? My group was very small (only a few people). It was funny, I was the only person in the group who had been to Disney since AK opened. They decided I should be the tour guide, then. Everyone still laughs that I never once picked up a guide map.
At Grad Nite, it is cool, because you meet lots of other seniors from across the country, especially Florida.
Next year's grad nite is April 20, 21, 27, and 28. Each group gets to choose which day they want.

There are of course most of the popular rides open. The lines are (or were for us) very short (like 5 minutes for Splash, 15 for BTM). There are also concerts across the park and a special Class of 2007 fireworks show at midnite. Disney blasts popular songs over the park PA (like "Everytime We Touch", "Dance, Dance," and Crazy Frog, were some of the ones I remember). It is certainly different to hear rock music outside Hall of Presidents. It is nice not to have little kids in the park (since only grads, their dates, and chaperones are allowed in the park).
We went to the MK Blastoff party, which lets you into the park 2 hours before everyone else. You get a free meal coupon. During this party, we rode Space Mountain three times (one time it broke down and we got to ride with the lights on, then get off and were led through a hallway so we could re-ride with no wait). Before it broke down, the wait was only about 5 minutes. Our group was the first guests in Frontierland for the evening. We walked all the way to tomorrowland before we saw a single other guest (just lots of CMs).
Later in the evening, Space Mountain wait did go up to 45 minutes, but still not bad. Space Mountain had rock music blasting inside. Buzz lightyear, and all of the Fantasyland attractions had a 0 minute wait. Our group went to Philharmagic and for the longest time had the entire building to ourselves. Later on, we rode Big Thunder Mountain 8 times in a row (after 2AM, the lines are a lot shorter). There were three of us at the time that wanted to ride. The CMs let us squeeze into one row (it was a very tight fit, but we managed to fit). It is just so exciting to be celebrating Graduation with your friends and being able to be at Disney all nite.
They had Mickey and Minnie walking around the park in Graduation robes and caps, and were taking Photopass pictures. They will also take a Photopass picture of your group in front of the castle (ours turned out great).
AK also had a blastoff party. Pleasure Island is business as usual the whole time around grad nite (one evening, we went to Disney Quest and walked through PI, right through this HUGE street party for Cinco de Mayo. There were people with beer everywhere). PI does not change any. They used to have a blastoff party, if I remember correctly (from research last year), but they no longer do.
