Has anyone taken the Magic Your Way Package with Dining option? What is it like? What resturants can you go in? Any info would be great! Thanks!

Hey! You can read about that on disney's website. With the dining, you have 1 counter service (go up to counter, order, pick up food, and take back to your table), 1 table service (like crystal palace, cinderella's royal table, chef mickeys, etc). Both of those include 1 appetizer, 1 entree, 1 dessert, 1 non alcoholic beverage and (tax and) gratuity. This package also include 2(only one) snacks, (ice cream bar, popcorn, soda, etc) You can also exchange 2 table service restaurants for 1 signature service restaurant like Victorias and Alberts (Nope sorry...read the list ;) ), Flying Fish, etc. I haven't gotten this dining package yet, but I have gotten it before they changed it.(it's something new) How it used to work was you paid $50, they gave you $60 (per day, per person).(no you dont have a set dollar amount) At the time i thought it was a good deal. (It still is) We didn't eat at many expensive place cuz we thought we would run out of money.(You can order of the normal menu. Once again no cost limit) Well at the end of it, we brought home a bottle of wine (unless you buy yourself some wine you will get a bottle of wine...wine is good though) and gave our waitress a couple hundred dollar tip because we couldn't use up all the money and wasn't about to give it back to disney(did you give her meal tickets? that statement does not make seem right) waitress might as well have it if we couldn't. The new deal sounds like it's a whole lot better. Have fun!

Revised a lil bit.

I too would like to know of anyone who has used the Dining plan. I would like to know what there experience was in making the PS reservations at the restaurants, was there any limitation on the menus or a different menu handed to you because you were on the plan and how were you able to keep track of your usage of points.

I know all the things you posted about the plan, but I would like to hear a report from someone that has actually used it.

Thanks for the info. The wife and I sat down and tried to figure out what would be best for us. Everything seemed to be going well until we planned for the day we were going to be at EPCOT. They only have 4 table service resturants at EPCOT and I can't say that they are the best ones for us. It seems like they relly limit you when it comes to table service resturants., They had tons of counter serivce resturants but not enough table serivce so we opted not to go with the dining plan and now we can eat our favorite resturants. Thanks for all the input though.
