Hi everyone,
In the Magic Kingdom, on Main Street USA, there are trees that twinkle in the night with Cinderella Castle as the backdrop. The effect is so subtle, but very powerful.
I have a 6 month old daughter, and as she grows up, I want to bring that "Disney Magic" back home. So, I'm trying to think of a way to get trees to twinkle.
I imagine the lights themselves are very similar to the Christmas Tree Lights that are found abundantly around the holidays. But these seemed to be spaced out very far and twinkle more subtley.
Ultimately, I think it would be cool if the lighting system was self contained. Maybe like a solar powered battery that sits in the tree and charges during the daylight hours, then at night the trees twinkle. Therefore, no need to bury an extension cord.
Has anyone does this ... or does anyone have a good idea on how to accomplish this?
Thanks!
