Congrats on your future wedding!!! :sohappy: JC & I were married a year & 7 months ago. We want to look into the Vow Renewal at Disney for our 5th year Anniv although its far off! :hammer: We too our from Cuban parents, but raised here.
Maybe we'll get out of Miami some day! Its getting too crowded!
:brick:
The bricks are sold as a one time deal, like LAL at Epcot. Once you pay for it, that's it. I mean what better way to have the public pay for your future constructon needs. Need a new sidewalk, have people pay you for the bricks. Your'e only out labor and stuff like that. Of course if the brick cost you $1.00 each and you charge $35, the other $34 has to go somewhere. I first saw the bricks being offered on our trip in November of 1994. Didn't buy one then and haven't bought one yet, of course it's not because I am against the idea, just never really bought into the idea. NO pun intented.
If they offer them again, I might buy one because on our last trip this February, my 5 year old found her cousin and aunt on a LAL tile and she thought that was the coolest thing in the whole world. Years from now, my children can go back and see their own brick or tile.
But I do remember the cost being more than $35. Even in 1994 they where closer to $50, if I rememer correctly. Maybe they brought the price down to get more people interested.
u asked if i was from miami, so i ttt (to the top) the post so you could see it it fell down to the bottom of page 2 and stuff...
mayi.. yeah my folks are cuban, me raised & born here.. however, Christie is my gringita that i found here in west palm  well, maybe she found me, but that's another story thanks tho, and congrats on your (semi) recent wedding as well
