Magic Kingdom operating hours extended significantly for March 2011

Good news and thanks for the update.

This happens a lot for MK hours during peak periods. Closing times get later and 2nd showings of the night parade get added. A recent example is the December 2010 hours. The early calendar had MK listed as only a midnight close on New Year's Eve, but it ended up being 2 AM, same as the last several years.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some revisions to the week before and after Easter (in April this year) as well, which are currently just listed as 11 PM closures with just one Electrical parade.

Probably because Florida pubic school spring breaks are about 3 weeks earlier than usual... normally it's early to mid April, and this year its March 12-21...
Thank you FCAT, lol...

You should miss it...
As a parent with kids in school here, I can't imagine the point of going on vacation, the week before vacation... lol...

Touring Plans has some days showing 9/10 at MK and other days that are 1.5/10 at DHS. They also show the 12th as being the official start date of SB. I've always been to the world during the summer months so I am excited to finally experience WDW at a slower pace... crowd wise at least, I'll still be going open to close non stop.

March 6,7,8 is going to be rammed. Hours are 8am to midnight those days - that is pretty much a maximum set of hours Disney are giving those days.

I'm still not buying it that every park is going to be completely packed in early march. I think that the parks will be busy, yet manageable. I cannot imagine that they will be as busy as during the Holidays.
