Magic Kingdom Friday bad idea?

Hi

I need some advice. I am currently in Orlando on vacation and I go home on Saturday 21st July. I would like to make the Magic Kingdom the last park I visit but I realise extra magic hours are offered in the Magic Kingdom on a Friday. Is it a bad idea visiting the Magic Kingdom on a Friday and would it be better going earlier in the week to visit the park.

My family always makes MK the last park on our visit no matter the day. We've ended on Friday before and never had any problems. I mean, it'll be crowded certainly but if you manage things right (ie arrive early/get fastpasses early/eat at times that aren't so conventional) I think you'd have a perfectly magical time.

On my next visit I'm planning on MK being my last park as well. I have done it before and it was fine.
It's like 40k vs 35k, bottom line it doesn't matter.

Always MK on the last day/night. No question about day of week.

Definitely go! It's July, it'll be crowded. I don't think one day to the next really makes a huge difference this time of year. Certainly not enough of a difference for you to not go. Have fun!

We also make MK our last park to visit before saying goodby. By that time we've already done everything we had planned and that last day is just a last hurrah. Being the last day, crowds don't bother me as much, I'm just walking through the park depressed knowing that in a matter of hours I'm going home. Just plan your day around the crowds as you find them and enjoy your last day.

I agree go. Enjoy and don't worry about it. As many have said as long as you know its going to be a long, hot busy day then you should be fine...but the last day with that Magic..there is nothing like it...Enjoy.
