Bloggers seem to find out confirmed info and dates before we do here, therefore getting the advantage of reservations or event tickets. Normally this wouldn’t be as much of a issue but with the park reservations system mixed with the return of nighttime shows… that could be problematic.
I mean just with the release of the Galaxy's Edge dark saber. It was announced one day and the next day all these vloggers already have their hands on one.

I don't think all of them are part of media. A lot of these vloggers are former CMs so they do know a lot of inside info from their friends who still works.

The most Dark Saber(if that's the one that just came out a day or two ago)I saw on twitter was That Other Site(of course, not shocking)I don't think it made it's way to the Streaming Community yet.

Oh just search on Youtube and there is a bunch of unboxing and flexing going on there already.

What they never seem to understand is that people watching want to see the ride, not hear them. I can't stand ride videos that are more focused on the rider than the ride.
This 100%! If I'm going to watch a video of the parks, I want to imagine that I'm there - I don't want to hear someone else yammering on over the music or attraction dialogue. And most of the time, the vloggers that do this are shouting to the camera to drown everything else out. If I ever see a vlogger doing this, I make sure to get as far away from them as possible.

With recording fireworks it can really become a problem - and in my experience it's actually not with professional vloggers, but your average guest trying to record something from their smart device. My worst experience with this was at DHS - a little girl was on FaceTime with her friend, using a very large iPad, and would flip the screen back and forth to talk to them and show them the fireworks, and I happened to be right behind her and her family. That screen was bright.

I'm excited for fireworks to come back, but I'm also dreading whenever it is I will actually try to watch them. I'm short and never seem to be around other guests that care if anyone else can see or not.

Not sure what you mean exactly. But Josh has been active on here, maybe not so much recently. But then I’m pretty sure he teaches full time - the Disney stuff is his hobby.
Yes I'm well aware of that. I've been to RTV1's Message Boards a few times and to me, doesn't look like insiders are on there like here who are hearing stuff.

I don’t see why they would be though. They don’t report Disney news or rumours from what I’ve seen, they either do live streams or record from the parks and resorts. So there’s no reason why insiders would be interested in posting on their message boards.

Makes sense.

Since Orange County is not yet lifting all mask requirements, I wonder if this is going to cause a delay in the fireworks returning plans? I’m sure the Distancing needs to go away before Disney will announce anything.
Orange was 5.2 today correct? they could be under 5 next week so it might not matter? Or does it not workj that way?

I, just like everyone wants this over and done, however Masks indoors shouldn't effect pyro much correct?

Yeah probably won’t be a issue. Unless any hiccups happen.

I find out stuff on Facebook (of all places) before I do here nowadays... You like and follow a craaap ton of groups, pages, people, and other things on Facebook, and all the news you want to know is bound to pop up at LEAST an hour before it hits these forums.

Looks like Ignite is back at SWO this year (it wasn't last year due to a smaller show due to COVID) beginning next weekend. That along with CineCele at USF looks like a normal summer on I-4 north of WDW. Should be interesting what TDO has up their sleeve.....
