No...

I tried to get him to turn around to pick me up. He didn't want to after I said no. I almost got him to come back by suggesting he take me to the Disney Store, since we don't have one here anymore. I got so close with that one...but he changed his mind again before he could come get me.

I know he needs the time alone, but the combination isn't good. Plus, he might not make it all the way up...he even said so himself.
I know it's hard to see your brother hurting like that, I have a big brother and while we fight alot, he's still my bro and I'd do anything for him so I feel ya, I just hope that he keeps in touch with you to let you know he's ok...

Hi my darling!

I've been a fool to stay away. Lured by the false promise of easy interaction...(not that I don't love FB!)
FB, has false promise...who knew...:lookaroun:lol:

See! You know him best. If you went I bet you two would have fought the entire time. I know I do with my brother when he's got a bug up his butt.
OMG I'm the same way with mine! When his daughter took her driving test over the summer he asked me if I would bring my truck out there for her to test on, and I did and I parked on an incline used the emergency brake she took the test with the emergency brake on and he said it was my fault she failed......we had words a few days later and admitted that he had been wrong to say that and was just embrassed that he hadn't taught her how to use the emergency brake yet...
*snort*

Yup!

Animals are like men, you can't live with them and you can't live without them or at least that's how I feel...
Um...over a year.

But, you know how it is with guys. But they always do have their moments. Usually it's about other guys...so that's always fun...
That sounds like one of those situations where someone is ready to commit to the relationship and the other is not...

All right, I'm heading out....say a prayer that the driveway doesn't do me in.....
Bye Jenny, I hope you don't pull a Jenny....:lookaroun...:D:lol::animwink:

Um, I was just getting ready to bundle up, and a girl shows up at my door offering to do the driveway for me  - actually there's two of them working at it. I warned them about the slope and they're still game. So if they pull that off, they get a $20. They have a snowblower though, and they said they've done six other driveways.

Dude...I would totally have done the same thing as your niece. I didn't even KNOW about the emergency brake until I was 30.

Good for your bro for owning up...that's what it all comes down to in the end when you love each other.

*Does the hand scale thingy* You falling on your but again and being in pain again for at least a week or paying two girls $20...I think I too would go with option B!

Hon...that's what boys are for.

LOL, not doing you in...shoveling driveways, I mean.

Wouldn't you leave the 'in' off....:lookaroun.....

Oh, get this....talking to my hubby last night on the phone, and I asked what he was doing..he said reading, but I heard the TV in the background, so I asked what he was watching. He said the ET network, some special about 'cover girls' But it was just background noise, he was really reading........

Money well spent!

Two of the guys I work with have plows and I told them if they're not in my driveway tomorrow morning I will hate them forever.

Seriously! See we live in an old orange grove and when the family bought the grove they built all the houses up on an incline, because groves tend to flood, so our driveway is very, very steep so you have to have the emergency brake to not roll down it...

Yes, but here where I live inclines are illegal. We shipped them all out to the western part of the state, where I hear they are very popular.
