Generally, it takes up to three hours to get to your room. You can:
- Not use the tags and retrieve your bags yourself. Then you're certain to have them. They'll put them under the bus you're on.
- Take necessities in carry-on for the first night and ask the Bell Desk not to deliver the bags until you call in the morning [it can take around 10-15 mins once you call, depending on how busy they are].
- Accept that they might knock on your door during the night after you've gone to bed. My DS would sleep through WWIII once he's asleep, so it would only disrupt my sleep... I recover well, so it wouldn't be problematic.
