Good morning. Abby has gone back to school. Her fever seems to be gone. Mike took her to band, and I'm taking Joel to school in a little bit.

The girls are going to school. One is feeling better, still coughing but not so hard. The other is about the same. I want to keep her home but they are haveing a pratice TAKS test. I hate these tests. I know she is ready but I feel like I have to send her just in case.:dazzle: I told her she can call me if she needs to.

I know - I hate tests too. Abby's entire fifth grade is getting their pic taken for the yearbook today (they all have matching shirts), and supposedly the nurse is going to be giving the fifth graders the 'talk' :dazzle: I need to talk to her about it, because they keep sending papers home with the kids in the afternoon, and Abby doesn't get it because she's at another elem. :hammer:
I hope your DDs get better soon. :kiss:

The living room is half done.
The rest of that gets painted today.
That leaves just the hallway...hate cutting in those doorways! :fork:

The 2 older girls have had the talk I also bought a bood for them to rread. It talks about the young body changes also. Good book.

Hello..I'm back. Talked to Abby's teacher - pretty much the kids will get the same type of 'talk' I got in 5th grade - good ol' body changes and all that :animwink:. And I was able to reassure Abby as she came in that the girls and boys will be separate. 
But I'm glad I found out for sure. In today's world, you never know how early they try to teach things anymore. :zipit:

Morning all. I am so sick of winter! :fork: Right now, it's sleeting outside. I just want it to be over. Thankfully, in 2 days, I'll get away from all of it. I can have warm weather again for a brief time. Why couldn't it have sleeted while I was gone? :lookaroun
