She's on the couch right now, poor thing, buried under blankets and double layers of clothes. I guess there's quite a lot of sickness at school right now. Cross fingers for Joel please, he's already missed 9.5 days this year.

Does she have a washcloth on her head? B/c with all the covering up (which trust me, if I were in that situation, I'd be too!) but I'd be worried about her fever going up. I know I'm not a mom yet, and don't want to step on toes, but I was just curious.

No washcloth right now - I gave her tylenol and she's asleep. Her fever was 100.4, so we'll have to wait and see. Part of the problem was she didn't sleep well. We had that spelling bee last night, and she couldn't shut her brain down, I think. She did really well though, went from #16 to #6 or 7 before she spelled out. She was spelling against 8th graders.

Wow! That's awesome for her!!!!!

I know - there were 35 kids, out of 900 students from all three city elementaries, the Catholic elementary, and the middle school, grades 5-8. To have even been selected was a huge honor. But she was disappointed -really wanted to win. I told her she won with us.

Well, I'm looking at my SIL's wedding pics. Haven't really cried yet from being upset with myself. So that's good news. Although, I kind of have not much emotional attachment to any either. I'm kinda looking at them as a bit of an outsider. (Maybe part of that is just my background and judging the pics, since, well, I take the best pics ever. :lol: )

I have a mild bleach allergy.

Which is why I never clean.
