If you forget to bring your Magic Band, at registration will they give you a free Magic Band or do you get a card?

DW always ops for a card. DS and I wait and grab our Magic Bands once we are there because the designs are better. But if its to save $$$ you dont need them. Phone access is quicker than cards. Using cards will give you a slight delay getting them out to use them, but we have never found a difference in the way theyve worked.

General tip: I've found MBs pretty cheap on disneystore.com. You can check their clearance section, where they'll sometimes drop under $30. If they're running a general promo (like 20% off site wide or 10% with using a Disney Visa), then you can stack discounts. So if you find a band on clearance and then get a discount on top of it, they can be much better priced. I just picked up another one for about $25. You just have to keep an eye on what designs are on clearance.

Yes I know about that. But they do not carry all of the MB designs. Weve found things once we were in the parks that interested us much more. I wish the Disney Store would carry more of what you can get at WDW but unfortunately many things can only be bought on site.

That wasn't specifically directed at you; just at anyone in general who might be looking for a design but unwilling to pay $45 or so. 😊

I've found stuff on Disneystore.com having seen it at the parks for ridiculously lower prices, especially in the clearance section. I got dish towels that I saw for like $7 when they were $21 in the parks. If I see something in the parks now, my default it to make sure they don't have it online, even though I have an AP.
