Yes, and even if the battery dies mid-day, it will still work for anything you "tap." Tap-to-pay, lightning lane access, park entrance, photo touchpoints.

The only thing that won't work with a dead battery is long-range photo linking (which should also work with your phone if you're carrying it.)

Awesome the tapping I was pretty sure would work even on old magic bands with dead batteries, so wasnt super worried about that part. More of the far away picture taking (thanks for the info btw) and it might be cool for the lights during some of the nighttime shows, but def not a deal breaker.
