You know these days everybody complains about budget cuts or peeling paint, Well when I go to Walt Disney World im always feeling magic. I never even notice that stuff (Well mabay the mildew on Splash Mounatin). I just feel the magic all around me when I see peoples smiling faces watching the magic. Look at all the things that amaze us in shows and rides. Fantasmic wowed me and so did Illumanations and every ride I went on in the resort. Before I started reading these sites I thought Walt Disney World was the greatest place on Earth and I still beleive that Walt's dream is alive and doing great. I hope that other people feel like this and that they will stop looking for the small things and notice the magic in the air.

I couldn't agree MORE. I hear a lot of whining and complaining in these threads. Bad food...big crowds...closed rides...high costs. etc. These are all legitimate things we can complain about but ya know what? Nothing we say in here is going to change anything anyway so maybe we just need to enjoy Walt Disney World for what it is...a fun place to go to forget your worries and have a safe and magical time.
I don't mind that there's is a WAND on the Spaceship Earth Ball...isn't the sheer size of it amazing? And how about whats INSIDE? What a great ride that is!
I hear people complaining because they are putting McDonalds Restaurants in the park...we should concider ourselves lucky to be able to afford to go to WDW and eat. Some people can't...and I think thats a shame.
I realize that complaining is a natural thing and I'm not against it or anything...I just think maybe we should stop and think once in a while about what a great place Walt Disney is and not complain so much about the bad things. Isn't it better to see the good in things? Heck...even a broken CLOCK is right twice a day.

I love Baseball....couldn't live without seeing at least 5 major league games a year.
But...I feel, as a paying customer, it's my duty and obligation to heckle the umpire as much as I can when he makes a bad call. This doesn't diminish my love for the game one iota, but it does provide the check and balance necessary to assure that the umpire tries just a little harder to get it right the next time.

I wouldn't underestimate the influence of this board and similar boards have within the executive offices in Anaheim. It was mentioned over and over during the Pin Convention in August, that executives and artists alike visited the website "DIZPINS" to determine what was on the minds of the collectors.

I too had a lot more faith in Disney before I started doing these discussion boards. I think people on the boards are doing to much complaining, and not using them to glorify Disney.

It makes me so happy when I see little kids faces light up on rides or seeing Mickey. That is what I call true magic like when I was little.
