News Maestro Mickey’s at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort to undergo phased refurbishment starting in early August

In a new notice, Disney states that Maestro Mickey’s will undergo a phased refurbishment beginning August 4, with completion expected in mid-October 2025.

Here's the full notice: From August 4 through mid-October 2025, Maestro Mickey’s located at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort will undergo a phased refurbishment. During this time, the store will remain open. However, Guests may see and hear construction in the area until the work is complete.

This type of phased update is consistent with past merchandise location refreshes across Walt Disney World.

That's what I'm afraid of. Let me guess. They'll remove the sign with character (multiple readings intended), get rid of the carpet and spotlights, and put in non-descript merchandise shelves. It's "dated", don't you know.

It’s going to look similar to the refurb they just did at All Star Sports shop earlier this year, just with. Music theme. Laminate floor, less and different theming.

The sports shop turned out “not too bad” in my opinion

I was just at the All Stars Resort this past Sun-Mon staying in Sports. Was able to watch some of the closure. CM's were emptying the shelves while guests still shopped, around 10pm the night before closure. Also visited the next morning around lunch time and front entrance was closed with about 3/4 of store walled off. Entering through the bus station doors there was limited merch as expected. I assume the will flip this once the front section is complete as they did with the shop in Sports. After this store I assume they will move on to the last All Star Resort probably late 2025 or early 2026.
