Sorry everybody, I didn’t really do a through scan, but I just realized, I haven’t heard anything about the updates of Maelstrom. Anyone know anything? :veryconfu

That is so funny, I did the same thing 2 days ago. I went back and found one thread about the reopening and nothing new other then they removed the old vistor desk they used to have at the exit. But no one really went into any details about it.

I hope they at least fixed the problem with the boat going in reverse...The last few times I rode it, somehow my boat always gets turned around and goes in reverse...Must have just been the rotors on the specs with the brake pads...

Anyone have a link or picture of the ride layout? I'd like to see what room they had to work with and why the ride wasn't made longer. Or even how it could be made longer.

i thought the ride went backwards at one point anyway..... im pretty sure its supposed to. you see the 3 headed troll then you turn around and go backwards

But seriously, when I was there at the begining of July I didn't notice any real updates or anything. They did have the movie shut down. Said it wasn't working due to technical difficultites. Anyone know if it's gone for good or getting ready to update... or just needed a new bulb for the projector?

I'd like to see something like this, too.

By the way, does anyone know if Maelstrom is still closing at 8 PM? When I was in WDW the last week of June, Maelstrom was closing early. Anyone know why?
