Yes,

ETA normaly calls local newspapers.
A few years ago we had a warning in my town, there were 3 bombs, one at less than 100 meters from my home. they made a mistake with the time (am-pm), the police found the bombs on time.

All suspects goes to ETA,
The way they put the bombs and explosives used all point out to them.
Past 24 December the police aborted an attack on the railways (they wanted attack the same way they did yesterday)
Last week the police caught them with 500 kilos of similar explosives.
The confusion is the letter send to a London newspaper.

Man...

I have been out of the loop regarding news -- is the US government sending anything to Spain (other than words from the President) like flowers or a small memorial?

Are local US people doing this?

Spain did this for us after 9/11.

I hope the people behind this terirble event see this. The more times they attack, the more united the country/world becomes against them.

So true! I was about to say the same when I saw your post. I am watching the news right now and looking at the HUGE crowd gathered at the streets of the main cities in Spain. Two million spaniards just in Madrid, the Royal Family included! :)

ETA denied the responsibility while the letter from Al Qaeda seems to be real. It´s scary how it states that another attack to the US is 90% ready. When is this going to end??

:(

I send my heartfelt condolences to our friends in Spain. God bless the victims, their families and their country. What more will it take to unite the world to crush this evil in our lifetimes? Do we just pass this on to another generation?
