And I'm really excited to have gotten everything I wanted. It will be a short 4 day trip for us and our first during the holidays. I was able to take care of it all on my hubby's iPad before the kids woke up which worked out perfectly since it's a surprise trip. I booked:

Dinner at California Grill on 12/13 at a time that will allow us to see the Holiday fireworks at the MK for MVMCP;
Dinner at Cape May Cafe on 12/14 which I've always wanted to try plus it enables us to see the gingerbread carousel so ... two birds with one stone; and
Breakfast at Kona Cafe on 12/15 for us to finally try that Tonga Toast and pineapple pancakes (not to mention the wasabe bloody mary for my hubby and the kona coffee). We start our days early so this will be like lunch for us.

If they start taking reservations for Be Our Guest, I might add one more dinner ADR.
Six months and counting!

Isn't ADR day the best! It's like living the trip in advance, one meal at a time!

I have the same strategy - I kept our first night open as a possible BoG dinner. We ususally do a QS meal that night, since we fly in early and our eating schedule is usually a bit off. But I'd gladly book something if they open it in time for our November trip!

It really is the best! That's why I'm such a big planner - it's like you get to experience the trip in advance as well as during the actual trip - the parks, the rides, the resort, the restaurants...

I too would be replacing a QS meal with BoG if it opens in time. Fingers crossed!

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!

Today is my 180th day out as well, but I did not have good luck. I was online at 8am, and no times available for lunch or dinner at Le Cellier or Rose and Crown for our entire stay Dec. 13 - 18!! I got lunch ADR's for Biergarten and Raglan Road, which I knew I would because they typically don't fill up. But we weren't able to get in for LeCellier or Rose and Crown during our stay last Dec., so I was especially careful to get online on the 180th day this time. Bummed!!

Apparently your days (and mine) are currently being held because of Candelight Processional packages. I'm actually on here searching for info on when the dates will be opened up. Just keep checking daily, they did this last year too and it's maddening if you like to plan ahead :).

Ahhh . . . that makes sense why when I called the operator said that there were no tables open for reservations at Le Cellier or Rose & Crown for Dec. 17 or 18. But, when I asked her when they would open up for reservations, she said "Well, they SHOULD be open now, so just keep trying." She sounded like she didn't have a clue! Tried again this morning with no luck, but I'll keep trying :confused:!

Definitely keep trying diligently and hopefully you will get lucky with R&C Pub or Le Cellier. Biergarten is a lot of fun though with a great atmosphere and good food. Haven't tried Raglan Road yet myself.

awesome! well done.

I attack my trips in two phases, next month is our honeymoon and was an epically planned trip... with a full slew of ADR's over 11 days. Since we picked up AP's and will be returning in March of 13, we'll be doing a trip on the cheap. Likely staying in a value, no ADR's... all casual QS meals and snacks. Our ADR's for this upcoming trip will cost me many dollars I do NOT have, but it's a honeymoon!
