I want a glass roof!! I'm still holding out hope since that's what was pictured in the fantasyland expansion announcement art.

I doubt a glass roof is going to happen, reason being Florida is just too hot. A glass roof in the summer wouldn't allow for any shade. They could tint the glass, however knowing TDO they probably are going to keep the roof how it is because the average guest isn't going to not come to the parks because of the Teacups roof.

Depends on the glass. There is "low-e" glass that reduces the amount of infrared light that gets through the glass, thus keeping the area under it cooler.-rob562

I was there Wednesday and walls/curtains were up. They were semi-transparent and it looked like all the cups were gone. The walls at the time weren't tall enough to mask roof changes but that could have changed by now. I will try to get an update later today.

I heard they were putting actual tea in the cups.

A refreshed roof would be nice. With New FL in the background, this current roof doesn't quite look right.
I wonder if they ever considered a glass roof with some minor tint to it?
