Mad T Party is going down the rabbit hole

I hope not a Frozen dance party doesn't seem like much fun. Electronica and Mad T Party were aimed at teens and adults. I can't see the party atmosphere with Frozen.

ElecTRONica was cool, I never got to experience Mad T Party. The commenters on the Disney Parks Blog don't seem too thrilled about this either...

I really enjoy Mad T Party, so I'm annoyed it's getting the can. As long as the replacement is just as good (read: live band killing it and awesome specialty acts) I don't really care if it's rethemed to Frozen.

Alice and Wonderland from the day it was written has been subversive I get the adult/alcohol/party tie in. Not sure how Frozen will work here.

Yes I believe it's for more Frozen, as the immediate approach is there-can't-be-too-much-Frozen.
But to be honest, the Mad Tea Party was a bizarre, tripped out, drug-induced, non-Disney rave. Sure plenty of people enjoyed it, but really it was a place for local season-passers to get out of the way of the paying guests. I get it, but it was just very un-Disney-like. It might fit in the old California Adventure model, but now that it's retooled DCA, definitely not.

They need to demolish that whole area and build attractions. That said, this was totally expected. I'm not saying Mad T Party isn't somewhat popular, but the majority of the time, it's a bunch of people standing around with decidedly un-Disney music playing while scantily-clad young girls occasionally walk back and forth on a platform. Frozen is much more in their image and will attract all the babies they basically market exclusively to and their parents' wallets.

Well it's not exactly kid friendly. It's supposed to be a adult and teen area. o_O

I am heartbroken right now. I honestly thought I'd have a chance to go to Disneyland next summer and see my heroes. Mad T Party is the one thing that means the most to me, and every time I watch a video I feel this love for the performers that I will probably never get to meet.

I am now completely and forever done with Frozen. I'm so angry.

What do you mean? These two young ladies were on the Disney payroll for the entire run of Mad T Party, so while they may not work as Storybook Land hostesses, they were certainly "Disney".
