Mad Men & Disney/World's Fair?

Not sure who on here watches "Mad Men", but with this season taking place in 1965, and the show being set in New York, part of me was wondering if they'd work in the World's Fair at all as the season progressed. But all we've gotten to this point was a glimpse of a 60's-era Mickey plush that one of the characters had bought his son. (No direct reference to the Fair, though)

Well, this coming week's season finale episode is titled "Tomorrowland". Kinda makes you think there might be SOME kind of Disney reference/connection...

I love that show.... I'll be looking for it this week.

I wasn't aware of this week's finale being titled Tomorrowland. I haven't seen any previews for it either.

This show is brilliant. So sad the finale is already here...it seems like it just started back up again.

Alas, nothing *in* Disney was shown in the finale. All we got was a trip to California with the kids, and discussion of what they were going to ride the next day (though the scene included a vintage park map...)

Ah well. I'm sure with a little research they could've filmed a scene or two in the park in areas that still look like 1965 (perhaps with a few CGI tweaks)...

Walking around Disneyland would have been way off topic for that show. I was happy for the small bit of Disneyland coverage. Do you really expect to see Don Draper taking a ride on the Matterhorn? :lookaroun

Next season, less of the kids and more of the adults would be a welcome return to a winning formula. The dialogue between Sally Draper and the boy friend was hard to endure at times.
