I don't mean to rain on the parade as I like the poster myself. However, please read below.

From the Huffington Post web site User Agreement section:

"Unless expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, enter into a database, display, perform, modify, create derivative works from, transmit or in any way exploit any part of our site or any content thereon, except as permitted under the last sentence of this Section 4(a) and except that you may make one print copy that is limited to occasional articles of personal interest only. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing (but subject to the last sentence of this Section 4(a)), you may not distribute any part of this site or any content thereon over any network, including, without limitation, a local area network, or sell or offer it for sale. In addition, these files may not be used to construct any kind of database. Just as we from time to time excerpt materials from other sources in order to support the various commentaries and writings contained herein, we respect the right of others to make “fair use” of the materials contained on our site; accordingly, you may from time to time excerpt and use materials set forth on this site consistent with the principles of “fair use”."

Just because something has been published on one site does not mean it is ok to copy content to another web site. Before retirement one area of responsibility I had was copyright compliance so I may be a little oversensitive to things such as this. The only "pass" on this is if this is considered "fair use" but a lawyer would have to decide that.

Let's just say the image reference is directly to their site so it isn't "copied". You live up to your curmudgeon avatar very well.

Yes, I did very deliberately choose my avatar. (Maybe that is a copyright violation too???) The only difference is the avatar has more hair but is was the most appropriate representation I could find. I even have a Seven Dwarfs "Grumpy and Proud Of It" shirt I wear to the parks.
However, I am not in curmudgeon mode about this. I am simply pointing out that posting copyrighted material from another source may well be a copyright violation. If you simply post a link to another page and tell others to visit that link that is not a violation, but when you re-publish the content without permission it is a violation. I suspect most of us (me too) have posted copyrighted material without even thinking about it, just like we all go over the speed limit sometimes without even meaning to. I just don't want to see this web site or any of the posters unintentionally get into a problem because I like it here. If you would rather be safe than sorry I suggest you remove the poster itself and just tell others there is a very funny Mad Magazine parody poster on the Huffington Post link. (And yes, just like "where's Waldo" I am still looking at it.)

I was looking to have a little fun with a poster about WDW. I'll let the Wizards of Smart decide whether or not it should be there, thank you.

But to your point, one-half to three quarters of items shared here are probably in violation. Just go to the "How Many Days until" thread where people share images with numbers on it.

If it came across as a personal attack please accept my apology. It was not intended to be so. Just trying to keep us all in the clear of the Tick Tock Crocs who wear a suit and advertise on TV about how they are going to make you rich if you will just call them.
