I had a Lunch with an Imagineer back in 2007. It was an experience that's worth the money. The food is excellent, and since you're with a small group, you have plenty of oppurtunities to ask questions and such. Joe Warren was our Imagineer, and he was very amicable and easy to talk to, and was quite interesting. You also receive a commemorative glass plate (autographed) at the end of the lunch.

I did it a few years ago, and it was fantastic. You really do get to ask pretty much anything you want, considering the small number of people there.

My Imagineer was Alex Caruthers, MK art director...turns out that he's single-handedly responsible for the statue of Mr. Toad in the HM pet cemetary. He also confirmed for us the then-upcoming refurbs of Space Mountain and the Hall of Presidents main show. He also expanded a bit on some of the stuff they were working on for Disney's America before that got scrapped. Told a rather funny story too involving Jason Surrell and the Tower of Terror too....

Bottom line, if you're a die-hard Disney fan, do it. You won't regret the experience.

PS - I got a nice touch on my glass plate. Alex Caruthers kept mentioning the retro EPCOT Center shirt I was wearing, and when he signed my plate wrote, "If you can dream it, you can do it." How's that for a little personal Horizons tribute?
