Lunch in Downtown Disney

Any recommendations on a good lunch spot in Downtown Disney. No kids, only adults, if that matters. Also, is there a bakery in downtown disney?

There is the Rainforest Cafe, good food and some good libations.

We like the Crab Cake sandwich at Capn Jacks

Portabello Yacht Club is an excellent Italian Restaurant.

House of Blues!!!!!! The Elwood is the best sandwich!!!! also the Rainforest Cafe......Rasta Pasta is great!!!!

There's a candy store...and they are working on a pretzel place too, not sure if it's open yet. As far as dining options, Wolfgang Puck's is nice- there are 3 seperate dining areas, depending on what you're looking for, and they also have great sushi.

Portabello Yacht Club is great, too.

You are correct. Let me add that I would suggest Cap'n Jacks or the Rainforest.

I would recommend Fulton's Crabhouse. They have the best seafood at "the world" The Crabcakes are delicious.:slurp:

Another vote for Cap'n Jacks. That is our fav DD place to eat. Good food, never too crowded, and nice view.

IMO Cap'n Jacks is a hidden Jem of DD!!!!!

Since everybody's concentrating on your first question, I thought I'd answer the second.

The Gourmet Pantry has a bakery of sorts. Not a large selection (and I'm not sure if it's on-premises or not), but you can get some baked goods there.

About the bakery... I strongly suggest getting a cuban coffee with a guava and cheese pastry at the little window next to Bongo´s. It´s owned by them and those pastries are delicious! :slurp:

Another vote here for Fultons Crab House. Best we've had. A little pricy but much better than going there for dinner! We love it there!

Captain Jack's is on the waterfront at Downtown Disney, near the docks where you rent watercraft. We've been there a couple of times, but I was never too impressed by the menu - not enough variety, I guess, but that's just me! Lots of people love it.

We have fun at the Rainforest Cafe, and at Planet Hollywood, too, if you're not looking for anything more exotic than a good sandwich, burger or salad!

The first thing you do for lunch at DD is go directly to GHIRARDELLI ICE CREAM PARLOR!!!

Be sure you get your dessert in before lunch fills you up!

Get the biggest thing on the Ghirardelli menu and then walk it off for a while. If you get hungry again in an hour or so, grab a Super Sized order of French Fries at McDonalds to hold you over til dinner!
