Hello all ! Quick question. My 5 yo DD and I are going to WDW in a month. I was wanting to visit CBR or Y&BC for the swimming pools and lunch. I hear the CBR has a sand pail. What does Y&B have? Which would be more fun for her?:)
Thanks for your input.
BTW we have 6 inches of snow here and 6 more on the way:p

Hi,
Just a little fyi....you have to be a resort guest at the Y&BC in order to enjoy their pool. They ask for resort ID and then give wrist bands....and they do turn away other guests.
so your best bet would be to go to the CBR.

Have fun!

Definately Y&B Club. But be careful at the pool. They will ask to see your resort ID and give you a wrist band to swim in the pool. You have to be a resort guest at Y&B to swim in the pool. I don't think you would have a problem at CB but they do have guards at Y&B Club. We snuck in our friends this past summer and I had to give them my room key so it would like their's.:lookaroun

Since pool hopping is no longer allowed, and since you and your daughter would like to do the whole pool and lunch thing, a good alternative would be to do a lunch at Typhoon Lagoon...they offer kid's meals that include the pail and shovel. You could enjoy lunch on a lounge chair in the sand and your daughter could build a sand castle! Have fun!

We go to other resort pools all the time never had a problem or had to show a room card. Most times you have to show ID to get a towel at the pool there are ways around that to.Do your homework and you can go anywhere.

You definitely have to produce an id at the Yacht Club to get access to Stormalong Bay. This certainly seems appropriate to me, given how crowded I am sure this pool would get should other than resort guests be allowed to use it.

:) Thanks to all of you for your comments. Just thought the sandpail sounded good. I'm afraid it will take up too much time to go th the water parks and not sure it will be warm enough to spend that much time there.

Pool Hopping is a big debate that usually produces a lot of arguments around here.

It is not allowed in WDW, and shouldn't be done. If you aren't a guest at that resort then you shouldn't swim there. If you choose to swim at another resort then be prepared to show a resort ID. If you don't have one from that resort then you may be embarrased when they tell you to leave.
