Luke at the Pooh Shop in England/Epcot

Luke made turned the purchase of a simple foam sword into a grand drama...reaching from pathos (his demise) to comedy (asking my 7 year old if the $10 in Disney money he'd handed over wasn't meant to compensate him for his death rather than to cover the cost of the sword).

We've been home a month now and my son is STILL talking about his adventure with Luke the pirate and how his sword has the special power of being able to move him to the front of any line at Disney (lol!).

Luke, if you see this, thank you so much for being part of the Disney magic for my family.

Disney will lose a treasure when it's time for you to go home to England!

Can you describe Luke? Their are two Lukes at UK. One has recently left and one is still there. Either way, I can arrange to get a note to him.

He had dark wavy hair...probably 5' 10" or so...

He was telling us that, if he had a choice, he would stay here rather than return to England, but that it wasn't an option. I really wish I'd gotten a photo of the little drama he enacted with my son...I was looking at clocks and didn't realize how involved he'd gotten until he died (lol!)

This was around 7 pm or so on June 5th...that may help you figure out which of the Lukes it was.

If you can get him a message, tell him that our interaction with him is a treasured memory! He personified Disney Magic for our family!

Well, I talked to the Luke that is still there and straight away he told me that it must have been the other Luke. He told me the name of the manager to speak to and give the note to.

Do you want to write one and post it here? I'll print it out and get it to his manager.

Luke's name is Luke Cater. You can also write a note to Meg Crofton about it as well. That will get him a "superstar pin".

Hey there!

They will recognize him even though he's gone home? That would be great! I'll send you a pm with the note...but want to know whether it should be addressed to him or the supervisor! Thanks so much for helping with this!

Address it to the supervisor, her name is Julie, and CC it to Meg Crofton. Someone told me that he may not have gone home, he may have transfered. It doesn't hurt to send it.
