I was watching some of the Modern Marvels Documentary on Youtube, and I caught footage of both Lucky the Dinosaur and the AA of Wall-E. Anyone know if either is currently residing anywhere in WDW, and if so, for how long? I would love for my BF to see Wall-E or Lucky! They're so cute!

Neither is currently in WDW. Wall-E never made it out of testing I think except for some red carpet appearances tied into the movie release. Lucky had been in AK for a period of time before going elsewhere, but I believe he currently resides at WDI in Glendale where he makes guest appearances during some tours and such.

That's so sad! It's such a nifty idea, and I know it's expensive to keep something like that moving, but how cool is he!

I hope they plan on doing more with him in the future, it would make for very interesting interactions with guests, especially the little ones who don't realize it's not real.

If I remember correctly, the problem with Wall-E was his size. They were afraid that with the way he rolled and his weight that it could have potential for crushing little feet. Don't remember where I heard this, but I know it was a while ago when the AA was first created.

I think the Wall-e running people over was a rumor around these parts. I think he was just to hard to keep up and too expensive.
