For all Losties out there, what did we think about our first two episodes (namely, "Because You Left" and "The Lie")? :D

Next time on LOST: Episode 5.03, titled "Jughead"; Wednesday, January 28; 9:00 pm EST; Desmond-centric.

I loved the new episodes. After being not-so-sure about the freighter people, I must say, I do really like Miles and Daniel.

I am so glad my show is back on! 8 months was a really long time!

I can't believe all of the time travel-y goodness!!! I found that particularly intriguing when John fell. I wonder if that instance and when his legs went out earlier in the series are at a corresponding point within 108 minutes. Say, for example, his legs went out at 92 minutes that first time, and he got shot and fell at 92 minutes the second time. I'll bet you anything that they are jumping around in time every 108 minutes.

As a Lost fan of the female persuasion, let me first say that Desmond in the scarf and sunglasses this week....well, an enjoyable episode, to be sure :o

Couple things...

* A few tears welled up when I heard Desmond call his son "Charlie"

* I'm thinking that the old lady in the robe with Ben last week, and in the first Desmond-centric episode (the lady in the store who told Desmond he couldn't change the past), is Faraday's mother.

* I really hope that, since Michael is really gone, Walt isn't conveniently "forgotten" by Damon and Carleton. If everyone else has to go back to the island, he should too.

* Am I the only one who is not looking forward to a Juliet/Sawyer pairing?

* FWIW, I don't trust Sun at all.

* I agree with ImagineerMMC...oops, Mr. Epcot, about the 108 minutes. I definitely think that the whole 'enter the numbers every 108 minutes' thing relates directly to the "flashes" and time travel.

* Who knew that the Others had such a large supply of eyeliner (great eye definition for Richard Alpert!)?

I'm glad that Lost is off to a good start...I'm thinking that Heroes will only be a disappointment, so it's good to have one good hour to look forward to every week.

I loved the episode "Jughead". One of the best, IMO.

I religiously check eonline and ew.com for all their lost coverage, and some interesting points were raised from viewers there.

-Theresa: the woman in the bed who suffered from effects of Daniel Faraday's research. Do we know anything about her? Someone posted that in one earlier episode, where Boone appeared to I think Locke, Boone said something like "Theresa fall up the stairs, Theresa fall down the stairs" Same Theresa???

-A lot of people think that Ellie (girl on island with Others in '50s)= Eloise Hawking=Faraday's mother. And the rat that Daniel was experimenting with in the Constant last season was named Eloise.

-Along with this point^, some people think that Ellie and Charles Widmore are Faraday's parents. I strongly believe that Ellie could be him mom, but not sure about Widmore being his dad.

-What is going on with Charlotte. Is she being "erased"? Some people wonder if she is related to Ben's childhood friend Annie.

-and is Miles Mr. Chang's relative?

I never thought I would get as wrapped up in the Freighters' stories as I am with our Losties/O6. But I am.

Thoughts?

*and, PeoplemoverTTA, I agree about Desmond's Oxford scene! But I read somewhere that Alpert (forget his real name) doesn't actually wear any eyeliner.

Wow, I loved them both! The consistancy with this series is awesome. I was so excited when Locke told Richard to come see him after he was born. I remember the episode when he did and that whole scene where Locke didn't pick the compass was so weird!! Now it's like "Ohhh!!! Lightbulb!!". I just loved it!!:sohappy:

I'm not sure about Theresa!! She must have some significance though.

I guess Charlotte can't handle the time travel. I am hoping she'll find her constant on the island since she apparently has been on the island before. After Daniel declared his love I was suprised at how much I wanted her to live.:)

Miles - cracks me up!!!

also do you think it maybe possible that desmond's son is not named after charlie, but IS charlie?

i also love miles, he is too funny.

i would hate for juliette and sawyer to get together. i am wondering if she knows lots more that she has let on.

i think this island is like the fountain of youth (so to speak).

This season is definitely off to a fantastic start! An hour seems to go by so quickly!

Gotta say though, that Richard seems to be using one heck of a good facial cream to be defying age so well

But is Rousseau only alive in the past where Jin is at the moment?

The SECOND Locke said, "Anybody here speak French?" while on the beach, I screamed, "DANIELLE!!!!!!!!!"

Scared my poor friends to death.

And yes, we have a Lost party every week and watch the show. Its amazing.
