Looking to buy DVC points last minute

So I thought I had this weekend booked.. but for some reason Disney doesn't have my reservation.

I am looking to buy points from someone for this weekend.. checking in on 5/23 for either 2 or 3 nights..

I don't really care which resort.. just looking to have a roof over our heads and don't want to pay Disney AP rates for a deluxe resort. If anyone has points to sell please contact me asap.. I am ready to move on this today.

Looks like all the DVC reservations are taken for this weekend anyway.. Guess I will be spending $500 per night if I want to stay on property.

If anyone has an existing reservation that you aren't going to be able to use let me know.. I am going to wait until tomorrow to book to see if anything better comes up.

They didn't give you a confirmation #? There was no deposit? If you were using DVC points there's no evidence of those points having been taken?

Yea they did.. it was linked to my MDE account.. then a couple days ago it went poof.. They didn't make me put down a deposit when I booked it.. which I thought was weird. I did give them my card # though so I was expecting the deposit to come out any time.

I usually call them a few days before arrival and pay the balance so I don't have to deal with that at check in.. when I went to do that the other night my reservation wasn't there. I am thinking maybe they tried to hit the card I have on file with the Disney website instead of the one I gave the person at reservations.. that one wouldn't have had enough to cover the $300 deposit at the time.

It isn't the end of the world.. worst case I will stay at the Wyndham Bonnett Creek or the Hilton LBV.. best case.. a room will open up in the next day or so at the Contemporary or Polynesian for the price I want to pay.

I just figured I would post here in case someone was stuck with a reservation they weren't going to use or if someone had expiring points they wanted to move.

Did you go? I would have called MS with the confirmation number. MDE has been known to have magical powers and make things disappear.

Yea I stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. It was very nice there.

The 24 hour party was much cooler than I expected plus we got to ride the mine train! It was a great weekend.
