I went to Universal when it first opened. And I remember that at that time, it was like parking at your local mall. Just rows and you walked up to the front gates and past the spinning globe. When I went back in September of this year (my first time over there since City Walk and Islands of Adventure), I was blown away by how vastly different it was. The parking garages, the long walk through City Walk, the waterfront - it was just really different.
I wanted to see some photos of how it used to be in an attempt to not only refresh my memory but possibly get some understanding of where and how things have changed. But it seems really hard to find photos of basically the parking lot and entryway into Universal. It's not an easy thing to search for.
I'm not looking to do anything with the photos, I just want to view them for my own personal curiosity and interest in the progression of the change to how it is now. Perhaps some of you will have such older shots you could share? Or know of resources I can use to try to view some elsewhere on the web?
Thanks!
