How cna we view what we got points for? Been trying to figure it out for a couple days, thanks

You get points for various achievements, including post count and like count. The link above has the breakdown.

You can see the number of points you have on your profile page under your avatar, or when you click on a users name, in the pop up box under the second section. (They are officially called Trophy Points.)
