They've been releasing the rights little by little over the past few years. So probably not too much more expensive than normal, just more selective in who gets them.

I had the opportunity to see it here in Houston before it went to Broadway (yep, that's right- it started here :) ) Very good show!

The St. Louis Muni is also doing a version this summer. The Muni is an outdoor theatre which seats around 12,500.

Ahem, its MUNY not Muni. ;)

And I'm looking forward to seeing it this summer! I love seeing plays at the Muny, and this should be great!

It's currently playing! Tuesday would be the only day I'd be able to go... haven't decided yet if I want to or not. I've seen it at least twice at the Fox Theatre, though. Everything's better at the Fox. :)

Ahh, the St. Louis Fox. I haven't been there since '93, but it was a great house. The St. Louis Fox is almost identical to the Fox in Detroit (Detroit is a little bigger). The Fox in Atlanta is another great theatre, but it's theme is a night in the casbah, with twinkle lights in the ceiling. All Fox theatres have one thing in common, they suck to load equipment into backstage.
