Long Threads

How do you get to the last pages of the long threads? I see people replying to them, but I can't figure it out. I always get stuck on page 37 or so.

vBulletin 4.0 probably fixes the issue, I would think.

There is a Last>> tab in the bottom right. It works for me.

Unless you could be referring to an issue in your PC. :shrug:

Some longer threads occasionally show more pages than there actually are. When you click on the button to go to the next page and it takes you to the beginning of the page you're on, you've reached the end, it just doesn't seem so.

It's a glitch in the software. :shrug:

Steve is aware. But upgrading software brings other glitches, so perhaps he doesn't always upgrade right away [let them fix some bugs before switching].

Actually, it's not really a glitch. The posts are there, but many have been "soft" deleted by the moderators. In other words the missing posts are still there, just not visible to the non-moderators/administrators.

So if you see a thread that has 40 pages, but you can only get to page 20, then that means there was a huge argument going on at one time!

If you're on page 20 and can't get to the page 21 that it says is there, then it's a glitch... The software should be either leaving blank posts where something has been deleted by a Mod or adjusting the page count to reflect what's viewable.
