Long Ridiculous Rant - My Complete AP Fiasco

Thank you all for the kind responses, the sympathetic ones and the funnies.

I've edited and highlighted the above for a reason.

While none of the CMs have gotten nasty with me - and would regret it quite deeply if they did, this is exactly why I put up this thread.

I realized yesterday that my entrance problems have a common thread each and every time. The CMs subtly or not so subtly lay the blame on me - I'm doing something wrong.

It's never their system that could be the culprit, it works fine for everyone else so I must be entirely too stupid to put my 1 square inch finger on their 1.5 square inch scanner with the fingernail in the up and locked position.

Honestly, we go a lot with our RFID APs and I haven't had an issue, so maybe it is something up with you? I mean, that's the first step in troubleshooting, so it's not unreasonable for them to think that.

Not sure if this makes a difference but I see a lot of people push really hard with their finger on the scanner. I don't know if squishing your finger so much affects how it is read but if it does I can see how much pressure you put on it can make it misread your prints. After all you really can not squish your finger at the exact amount of pressure every time. I just barely lay my finger on the reader and works every time. Just a thought. Like I said not sure if it would make a difference.

OP here. A small victory today. Got a green light on the 5th try. The score is currently Blue Circle of Death - 17, Green permission to enter - 3. Doesn't get any better than this.

On a side note, I've noticed on the three times this summer that I've used the IG at Epcot that they're closing the tapstiles before nine o'clock and sending everyone to the old turnstiles. I'd bet good money that it's because the new tech is so labor intensive.

Women are known to bloat for a while each month if true the swelled finger thing will cause all sort of fun.....LOL>

I think it's down to DNA testing, NSA is I'm sure all over WDW so let's just get it over with. No matching DNA sample no Disney for you.

Hahaha, I know about heat and swelling. I just found it funny that a CM actually brought that up as a possible excuse. Hilarious.

I hate the stupid system. I have fake nails on and boy do those cast members hate them. I can never get in and they treat me like I am stupid and don't know what I am doing. They need to fix it somehow because I only see the problem getting worse; and us annual pass holders seem to get the brunt of it.
