I have grown accustomed over the years to the announcements and history knowledge of James at the Hall of Presidents. Every year we go we wonder if James is going to be working and every year we usually see him at least twice. He has a vast understanding of American History (my favorite subject) and is an excellent cast member.

James is awesome. I met him when I went on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, and really enjoyed his information. I was told that the reason he knows so much is because he got into an accident that caused him to lose much of his short term memory. His doctors adviced him to learn facts to excersize his memory, and he chose.....Presidents!

He was working early in August at the Hall of Presidents. I got my picture taken with James in the background talking to a group of spectators. As usual, his introduction speech was inspiring and his random information was really neat to listen to!!!

James at the Hall of Presidents

Every summer my family and I journey down to Disney for some fun in the "Mouse's Kingdom". Along our journey we ran into James at the Hall of Presidents and each and every summer since the late 90s, we travel into the Hall of Presidents JUST to see James and to listen to his wisdom. Of course the show is a bonus; however, for us, the real show is James with his tales and insight into presidents. He's fascinating!

Moreover, as of two years ago, we now go numerous times and enjoy his intelligence. And, my mother and I immortalized him amongest our scrapbook pages.

What an intelligent man....it is evident to see that he really loves his job!

I was actually going to nominate him! Turns out, I'm almost 2 years too late! He's amazing! And if he's on this site- I just wanted to tell you how much more magical you make my vacations! :sohappy:

I was disappointed on my last trip in August 2008 that I didn't see him at the Hall of Presidents. Perhaps it was just bad timing because I missed listening to him before the show begins and he's dishing out his usual plethora of presidential knowledge.

My husband is a big American history buff and even he was impressed by James' knowledge! We hope to see him again next time we go!

Had to resurrect this thread. I met James recently and he is still, six years after this thread began, providing tremendous knowledge of American history. I was just sitting on a bench in the pre-show room and he took it upon himself to come up to me, ask me where I'm from (Florida) and then teach me that Jacksonville is named for Andrew Jackson, the first President from Florida. A truly great Cast Member

I've worked with James for years and trust me when I say you all have only touched the surface of James's knowledge :ROFLOL:
