Living Seas idea

Looking at this picture, looks like if they rerouted the road behind Living Seas it would give room for a larger, more exciting ride system to be installed for LS to add some spark to the attraction. Imagine the possibilities here.. could do a ride system like originally considered in the concept pictures.. hmm...

I've always thought a bonzer attraction should/could be added to TLS. Something really innovative, you know... A completely new ride system and completely new ride concept... Something that literally takes you to the bottom of the Sea and back again to tell about it. A 8-D (height, width, depth, sight, sound, smell, touch, taste (the salty sea water caked onto your lips)) immersive experience, part 20000K UTS, part simulator, part Geyser Mtn., etc. Incorporate live fish, dolphins, a villanious force (like a volcanic eruption, etc.), and you get the drift. Of course, there has to be an educational edge to the attraction, an the ableness to make it a Family ride... :animwink:

It could be done...

I don't have a problem with expanding LS as long as the educational theme is kept up. Anything that is going to be added doesn't need to reduce from the learning areas.

Also I think in additional to adding a new ride element (which doesn't need to be a "thrill ride"), they should expand and improve the educational areas. This includes adding onto the area where you interact with veternarians and animals.

Sorta hitting on what Sir said.. they could put in a drophill to whisk you down to the sea floor then bring you back up through the ride ending in Sea Base Alpha... heck, for humor they could put the Titanic on the ocean floor.. :lol: j/k

Of course, for this to happen, there would need to be MAJOR expansion behind the existing building. MAJOR!! Perhaps a whole new aquarium - doubling the size of the existing one. But, nothing is impossible... :animwink:
