With the EE and all...Does anyone know of future video camera feeds of the parks?
Although I personally never seen a video cam from Disney World I understand they did have live feeds that you could actually watch of different parts of the park at one time. I know of the one cam they have from a distance of the Swan. I was wondering about all the parks. when I try to find Disney webcams that's the only feed working.
I think it would be a great idea for those of us who need a "Disney fix" to view the parks in real time. For the weather, lines, to watch kids of all ages having fun..or just because we miss looking at the beauty of WDW itself. I personally think with todays tech...it's a great idea!
Also, know this isn't the forum for a poll, but what does everyone think?

bandwidth to do this can be quite high for full video, a jpeg type java video feed would not be very hard but, you never know what disney has planned. I remember a few ones in MK a while ago, but they were never up. It cold be done, but I don't see it as a high priority!

I think part of the reason why this is no longer available for inside the parks is down to three main reasons.

1. Security
2. Privacy of Guests and Cast
3. Protecting there "product"

With people today becoming so fussy about their identiy they are becoming more adverse to being seen on a public domain. Also Disney would get high number of people watching say Wishes and the Parades online, so it would take some of the Magic away from the actual show in their eyes.

If you notice, Disney never use actual photos of Ride, Parades or Shows, they are all Photoshoped images. They are very protective of there "Product".

This is something ive heard first hand from a leader at MK. We asked if we could use a Proffesional DV camera to film Wishes.

I know this has been talked about before. There is a camera (if not up to 3) still in operation. However, they are not views of the park persay. I believe if you do a search on the boards you can find it but I remember seeing a link that showed a camera looking on to the epcot resort area.

Thanks Coln .....Only one camera is still working...the others have no screen or picture.
I do understand about people wanting privacy, however...if that were the case there would be no cameras allowed in the park. At casino's across the country they have a no camera policy for that very reason. To protect people and products.
I can understand Disney wanting to keep secrets from other company's but after they are opened they have all media film and take pictures of everything...EE included. From a distance would be nice to look down mainstreet or from other point from above of the parks.
I guess it's just not for Disney.
