That is just the top half of our driveway. My husband and daughter had shovelled the bottom half out. The neighbour came and snow blowed the end of the driveway for them... Our driveway is quite large and we do not use the top half anyway so it just stays there.
Will do. I already have some pics to use for numbers as I countdown

This is my second solo trip. I love it. I enjoy the alone time. It is also nice to not have to worry about what everyone else wants.

Thanks for a great live trip report! I'm counting down til we leave this Saturday and reading these trip reports is the only thing keeping me sane!!!! It feels like Saturday will never come.
And it doesn't help that my house looks like yours!!!! It was -2 the other morning when I woke up and we have about 2 feet of snow on the ground... Definitely can't wait for Saturday!!!!

I live near Buffalo New York so this is normal for us! 
We usually get our first snowfall in October and our last in April.
This winter has been colder than usual though. My kids' school has actually closed three times this year because with the wind chill the temperature was -30 degrees Fahrenheit. Needless to say, we are ready for some sunshine!!!
