Trip Report LIVE- from Pop Century May 10-15

Jambo!! Just arrived at Pop Century this morning. We , my DD 21- DD Best Friend 21- and myself- no age needed. Lol. Stayed off site last night for free using points.

Arrived at Pop Century via personal vehicle at 6:10. Line for MK at 6:15 with a park listed opening time of 8am- already have about 15 people in it.

we are headed to AK with a park listed opening time of 8am. We are first in line at 6:15. Second and third in line showed up at 6:20. CM walked over and let us know first bus will be here at 6:45. At 6:30 there were 20 people in line.

Giving lots of line and bus info since it’s the hit questions now.

So we arrived yesterday driving and when we got to the hotel I realized I left all my shirts hanging in my closet at home! Noooooo
I pre plan my outfits and have Disney shirts that I love and have accumulated. Her friend didn’t arrive at the airport until 3 so we had an hour to do some last minute shirt shopping. Attempted to go to the outlets on International Drive but parking was not happening. Found an Old Navy outlet and made that work for a couple shirts. After picking up friend we hit up Disney Springs expecting it to be a nightmare since it was Mother’s Day and a Sunday. Fortunately it was not crazy yet. We got there at 4:30 and left at 7 just as all the crowds were coming. Perfect timing. We were able to get into Gideon’s after a virtual 3 hour wait then 10 min in line. We were disappointed. Only spent 5 min in the shop. They got cake slices and I got the cookies and cream cookie. The cookie was delicious but they did not enjoy too much the cake slices. So in the end we voted Gideon’s “overrated”!

We were able to get into Gideon’s after a virtual 3 hour wait then 10 min in line. We were disappointed. Only spent 5 min in the shop. They got cake slices and I got the cookies and cream cookie. The cookie was delicious but they did not enjoy too much the cake slices. So in the end we voted Gideon’s “overrated”!

We enjoyed Gideon's both cookies and cake but with the wait it really is overrated. It was definitely a one and done thing for us. Everglazed Donuts on the other hand is amazing and little to no line.

Bus arrived for AK at 6:55. Scanned Magic Bands at 7:14 at entrance. In walk thru line for Pandora at 7:21. In line for Kilimanjaro’s at 7:55. Tried to do the back walkway from Pandora to Africa but it was closed- last time it wasn’t. Oh well. Walk back to front of Pandora we go to get to Africa.
currently still in line for Kilimanjaro’s at 8:11.

Oh. MK bus arrived at 6:52 and line was wrapped around to front of lobby entrance. Just for information purposes I kept track of it. Lol. I wasn’t able to get a MK day with them so now they know when to get in line.

We are not park hopping this trip but we did in March. After 2pm you can park hop if you have already visited the first park you have reservations for.

Ok. So here’s the latest. Lol. Pics to follow.
In line at Kilimanjaro at 7:56 off ride at 8:42. Time to head to Everest

Joffrey’s stop! Yum. Chocolate donut please

Got to Everest at 9:01- posted sign said 5 min wait. Walked thru que and straight on line with a back row request. Off ride and back in line at 9:15. Posted sign now says 7 min. On ride at 9:25.

After riding Everest twice we head to Dinosaur leisurely . stop and take photo pass photo. Crowd is now catching up to us. Posted wait for Dinosaur is 60 min. In line at 9:39 and on ride at 10:20.
After surviving the meteor shower I head into the gift shop as I am still searching for more clothes to wear since I forgot all my tops.

We decide to head over to Navi’ River Journey (yeah I know- backtracking!). Posted wait time is 35 min in line at 10:40 and on ride at 11:12.
After getting off the nice and cool ride we head over to see if we can get into Nomad Lounge. App says waitlist que is full but I walk up
To CM and she takes my number and says wait is 90 minutes
Cool Beans- let’s head on over to Kali River Rapids while we wait .
