Live feed from parks

This isn't really a rumor or news but something I was wondering during my last visit. Has there been any thought on Disney putting live feeds from the parks on the tvs in each resort room? I thought it would be a good idea like from down Main Street looking towards the castle through out the day or whatever way would look towards where the fireworks are able to be seen in each park. It would be fun to people watch while kids are resting in the room. And then at night broadcast the fireworks from each park since a lot of kids don't want to be there due to the fireworks being loud. That way they could see them on tv and enjoy them even with the theme music that go along with the fireworks while it plays on the tv. Just something I thought about during my last visit while stuck in the room with the kids. Any thoughts or maybe rumors on this thought?

I would call this one of the coolest ideas i have heard. i was stuck on the floor for two days on my last trip after blowing out my back. This would be amazing. Great idea

They have done it occasionally, last time was during the holidays last year(I think anyway) I know they have done it during the 24 hour openings as well

Disney could do something with a live feed cam within the resorts. There were several web sites you used to be able to visit from your home that would show live cam feeds of Main street and other Disney areas. They were discontinued several years ago. Reasons were we were told... privacy issues, terrorists could take advantage of it etc. There exists sites of Disney areas viewing from far off and sites with a simulated Main street scene that Disney still allows.
