Lion King Theater

So, I visited DAK today, and went to see Festival of the Lion King, since I love that show so very much.

The new enclosure is SOOOOOOOOO great... Not only is the place AIR CONDITIONED (Can we get a WOO HOO!), but no longer is daylight allowed into the theater. This provides for a MUCH better lit show than in the past. It's AMAZING what darkness adds to that show. Accoustics were also improved.

Now the only thing left is to get some seats that are comfortable!! lol

That sounds awesome. Sitting in the hot temperatures always took away from seeing that show. It must be 100 times better now.

Indeed, it was 100 times better. Not only for the Air Conditioning (although, that REALLY helped), but just the lighting and the accoustics... It made for a much more complete show.

It was the best performance of Festival that I have ever seen, and not just because the show rocks, but now it just rocks more!

Oh I LOVE that show! It has nothing to ask for to the Broadway one!
It must be awesome darker! Most of the times, I saw it in the morning, so I can only imagine how great it must be now..... and AIR CONDITIONED! yeay!!! :sohappy:

The show must be so much better. In the other theater i thought it was hard to see.

I was actually thinking about this today; I was going to post a thread about this. Thanks for the info! I can't wait to check the show out now with air conditioning!!! :sohappy: In the summer time it gets really hot and uncomfortable in the theatre; it must also be great for the cast members wearing costumes as well! The darkness must definitely add to the show; I can't wait!!! :sohappy:

Seriously, the best part of the show is "Be Prepared" now. This is exactly what that part needed, the show to be inside. Its my fav. part because, lets face it, Keyume is the man, and the elephant section is the section. Not to mention, I can sometimes, if Im in the mood to do it, sound exactly like him (Well, the guy from the beginning of the Nazatu spot on TV, he plays Keyume sometimes, and he's the guy I can sound exactly like in hi parts)

Oh, and quick question. I mean we all know the elephant section rules all, but you, yeah you, on the lower level of the chain...who do you think is the best section.

I actually didn't like the show very much, but I was only in 5th grade, so I'd probably change my mind now.
I loved the acrobatic "monkeys", they were amazing
